Free Hugs in Sondrio, Italy

THANK YOU! Thank you everyone for the kind words and HUGS you left in your comments on my post about our barn burning. I have to admit that I did have some tears as I read what you wrote...who'd have thought that having a blog would connect you with such wonderful caring friends. My husband sent this video from Youtube to me this morning and when I saw it I knew I had to post it. These HUGS are for YOU....you are the best!   Enjoy!   Maura :)

Dear Miss Maura,

We only know you a short time but we are so thankful to have you as our friend. Blogging is showing us that it can bring people from all over the world together. Caring, sharing and loving.

And know this ~~ WE LOVE YOU ~~.

Hugs, & more hugs,

Prudence & Sissy
But..especially Mom (o:

Laugh for the day - did you ever think you would be talking to teddy bears? LOL We are the best listeners around and never talk back (well, only to Mom).

Hi Maura,
I am so sorry about your barn. I just went back and read the post. Things can happen quickly in bloggy land. I am so glad your ok and the chickens too! It would be very sad watching something you cared about burn down. My parents lost their home to a fire about 20 years ago and it still has an effect.
Take Care,
Cindy

Maura, thank you for the hugs and that video. It is scarey when you live out in the country. I am thankful for the volunteers fire fighters.

I am so afraid of fire. I just know you will somehow get past this and start anew.

Once again I am thankful no one was hurt. Hang in there my friend. You have a great attitude and will make something beautiful from this tragedy.

What a cute video!
Sending you more hugs - and a hope that the burnt wood smell will waft away and that you'll be able to rebuild.

Historically, buildings on the land around a home were called, dependencies. Good name for something we become attached to.

Sorry about your barn. Your land is gorgeous.

Garden & Be Well, XO Tara

Thank you so much for this. WOuldn't it be nice if people did things like this more often? Too bad some people were suspect and wouldn't return his hug but what a wonderful, heart-warming gesture. Kudos to hubby for sending it to you...many hugs to you both ... hope your times are quieter now .... love you... Scufty
