Screened Porch Time! (almost)

It's almost that time of year again to get out into your screened porch if you have one. Unfortunately we don't have one here at the farm....yet. Hubby told me a little while ago that his plan is to make one this summer if all goes well...which really surprised me! We built a lovely screened porch on our house in the city but when we moved to the Victorian it only had a pergola and a front porch..which was nice...but there's something about a screened in porch. Don't you think? We had an English lion-head fountain on the wall in ours and lots of plants and wicker furniture and a chandelier over the table...it was so peaceful. The chickens could even peek in (yes we had chickens in the city). One day I'll show you pictures of our former screened porch but they aren't on this computer yet... hopefully will be soon. I think one of the nicest I have ever seen is Susan's from Between Naps On The Porch...it's just beautiful! If you aren't already a follower of hers I hope you'll head over there and take a peak. Since I don't have pictures of my own to show you yet I thought I'd add a few that I found. Some of these are from BHG and Southern Living. I hope these inspire you to get ready for spring...it won't be long until we're finally able to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. It's been a long long winter...come on spring!
