Thank you ...Hi Misha...so good to have you drop by! Thank you for your compliments..that was so nice of you. Our old farmhouse isn't the beauty that our Victorian was but we love it and once it's all finished it will be a LOT less to have to maintain. I plan on having a screened porch to clean one day too and that will be another labor of love. I love your old home too...I haven't seen too many pictures of it so I'll have to search your blog to see if there are more. Your J sounds like my Keith...aren't we lucky...and your cats too! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too...enjoy your screened porch if you can. Please give your little filly a hug for me ok LOL thanks. MauraXO to you too.Maura @ Kisiwa Creek Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10992187526413563417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672117109679216195.post-13891181149316138912010-03-11T23:46:30.592-06:002010-03-11T23:46:30.592-06:00Hi Maura!
I have been wanting to let you know how ...Hi Maura!
I have been wanting to let you know how much I love your site!
Your home is just lovely; a girl after my own heart! I do love our screened in porch. The cats adore it! J built several perches of different heights, sizes and the kitties feel as if they are hanging out with the birdies!

I have a ton of books on Old homes. One of them features mostly Victorians (yours was awesome, by the way!!)
The Victorians believed the porch was extentsion of the home, to used as such. I have always tried to remember that! (J says it just makes another room that has to cleaned!!)

I hope you have a fab weekend, friend. Thank you so much for stopping by and always leaving sweet comments. I really do appreciate the time it takes!
Kiss all your animals for me :) I just love all them...too, cute they are!

xo, misha~from my front porch in the mountains~https://www.blogger.com/profile/18103990196491433325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672117109679216195.post-53511515772478552212010-03-10T14:04:57.444-06:002010-03-10T14:04:57.444-06:00Hi Maureen and Janean....looks as though we've...Hi Maureen and Janean....looks as though we've all got the same 'wish list'. I really miss ours...I liked to just sit out there and read. It was under a huge old elm tree and we had a roof that was semi transparent so it had filtered light that danced with the leaves. It was shady but yet not dark and the ferns LOVED it. Sigh...maybe this summer. Good luck with your wish lists too. We don't have one, but we do have a huge wooden pergula with 8 cedar tree poles as foundations. Hubby helped to build that one. Lovely porch images that you posted. I'm still drooling. :)
MaureenCelestial Charmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09254781524622723594noreply@blogger.com
