Echo Lake
This lake is on the side of Mt. Cartier about a half hour drive from my son's house. You have to drive up a logging road to get there.
Every summer we drive up to British Columbia Canada where most of my family lives. They live in the mountains ...they all love the outdoors and spend as much time outside as they possibly can...even in winter. They swim and hike and rock climb and fish and canoe and water ski in the summer and snowboard and ski and skate (hockey) in the winter. It's a healthy happy life they live up there. My two oldest grand daughters water ski, snowboard and rock climb and they are 8 and 10! Last year we weren't able to visit them so if all goes well this year we will be up there for sure.

I hope where ever your family lives...that you get to spend time together this summer.
God Bless!

Thanks so much for the visit! I'm still officially on 'blog break' but couldn't resist running over to check your blog out. I'm hooked! Of course, when I scrolled down and saw Phoebe and Eeyore, I knew it was fate :) Glad to find you. I'll be back! Beautiful pictures and family on this post by the way! -Tammy
Your post brought tears to my eyes. How blessed you are to have such a beautiful family. They are, it seems to me the be the kind of family I always dreamed of having, of being a part of, but alas, that never was or was never meant to be. Count your blessing as I am sure you do. Your beautiful family life shows in your posts, your smiling happy face and your Children and grandchildren...Those summers sound idyllic. Beautiful photos too.
Beautiful! It looks a lot like Northern Ontario. A bit of a closer drive for us! ; )
I hope you get to go this year!
