Who'd Have Thought!

The view to the west

I am totally amazed that this little Blog that originates from a tiny farm cottage on a dirt road in the middle of Kansas has been looked at by people from all over the world! There are people who visit regularly...these are not 'followers'...just people who seem to like to drop in for a visit. Most do not leave comments..which is perfectly fine...just the fact that they come back touches my heart! I see there is someone from Jamaica and and Brazil, Sweden, Finland, England, France, Italy, Germany, and of course my homeland Canada and here in the USA.

Looking south...to the north is the same!

I would like to say THANK YOU to all of you for taking the time to visit us here on the farm. I hope I continue to find things to interest you and maybe make you smile...I will certainly try my best. You make doing this so very worthwhile....and fun and I have met some wonderful people along the way.

The little lane to our farm cottage

To my family in Canada and England....I love you and miss you!  I hope this Blog helps you to keep up with what we're doing down here on the farm.

Awww...THANK YOU Catherine! You are the person who encouraged me right from the start...it was you who told me how to do some of the blog extra's and you were the very first person to comment on my first post. Thank you so much. I certainly enjoy following your blog...you take me to places I'd love to visit...and thank you to Maud for sharing her pictures with you! I will take some pictures of what we have been doing outside. I'm afraid we havent' accomplished much as we are bouncing around trying to get chicken runs built and vegetable gardens planted and dirt work done along with everything else. It seems the work never ends...such is life on a run down farm that you're trying to fix up. Life certainly is never dull around here! I hope you have a wonderful evening. Hugs back to you my friend ...Maura

It is amazing, isn't it! I have someone from Vietnam who visits regularly, but never comments. They come as a direct link, so I guess they have the blog bookmarked. I just love to see where all the visitors are from!

Your farm is gorgeous, Maura. Next time I am in Kansas, I will click my little red shoes and they will take me to you!

I've enjoyed your blog since my first visit. I won't, however, be showing any of these photos of Eeyor or Cynthia to the Great Dane - he'll be too tempted to add a donkey to our gang!

I enjoy your blog because it brings back childhood memories of growing up on the farm. I like living where you don't have to worry about speeding vehicles if you want to take a walk or sit on the porch and smell the fresh county air. Your sink reminded me of my mother's sink in their farm house. I have shown pictures of your animals to my grandsons and they really like looking at them. Have a wonderful weekend.
