Bathrooms On The Brain

COUNTRY LIVING
I love this sink skirt!

For nearly 3 weeks hubby and I have
been working on our little bathroom.

We're nearly done.

I've been searching the Internet for
inspiration and I've found some
REALLY wonderful bathrooms
 to share with you.

HOUSE TO HOME

I thought this sink on a table was
very different.
A modern idea with old
fashioned feel.

COUNTRY LIVING

I love the feel of the bathroom above.

HOUSE BEAUITUFL

Love how this tub is built in.
Wish our bathroom was this big.

COUNTRY HOME

I love this sink and the wainscoting

COASTAL LIVING

Love the large windows and bead board.

RAYMOND WAITES COUTURE

I like the built in cupboards above.

TLC

What a tub!

KOHLER

I like this bathroom...the two sinks that
are separated by the beautiful built in
tub and the separate shower.
How about the large window over the tub.
We could get away with that here in the country
but I'd still have to have a curtain closed...
at least until I got in and out of the tub!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these vintage
style bathrooms.
The next bathroom pictures will be ours
 here at the farm.
Ours won't be as fancy as these examples
but it will be perfect for us.

Can't wait!

I hope you're having a wonderful week.

Maura :)

Your bathroom will be lovely because it will have been designed for you and by you and your husband - it doesn't get better than that. All the the dream bathrooms are lovely, but yours will be perfect for you!

I can't wait to see it. We will eventually re-do the 2 bathrooms at the cottage, when we move there permanently. That's a year or 2 down the road.

Ooh, I love all of those bathrooms, the wainscoating especially. I really like the white or off-white schemes, so relaxing.
Can't wait to see your bathroom, I'm sure it's going to look every bit as gorgeous.

Clean, simple, glamour, timeless elegance. Sink bowls on washstands cool, but My hairsalon has em. Looks hard to keep clean, much splashing etc. on the outside ...urrr. I like the white and pale grey..Make it reality Maura...

Ah, the luxury of a clawfoot tub!

I also love the timeless and classic look of white bathrooms, though none of mine are! Maybe once we do a re-model.

Now that my bathroom has its old clawfoot tub, beadboard, chandelier, & la ti da, I've learned how little time I have to get into the tub !!

At least I can look & dream.

I love each and every one. We just finished painting our bathroom....had to paint it twice because the first time it turned out NEON YELLOW...yuck! I still don't "love" it but after paying the painter twice, it's going to stay this way for awhile!

So white and clean! Can't wait to see what you choose to do. How fun that must be!

Love the photos! I'm thinking beadboard will be the way for us to go if the plaster underneath the paneling (yikes) isn't in good shape. LOVE old houses, but...they can need a bit of creativity when renovating them. Can't wait to see when you're done!

can't wait to see it. I'm sure it will be perfect! Your house is adorable, how could it not turn out great?

We are going to start on our bathroom soon. We want to do the wainscoting, too. But haven't decided on the width of the boards. Some are more narrow and I'm not sure which size I like best. I will be watching to see how yours turns out! Not sure I'll be brave enough to show ours...depends on how it turns out! Good luck to us both!

Thanks for the inspiration. We are remodeling our master bath, come visit! Can't wait to see yours!

Maura,

You left such wonderful comments at Brambly and they all made my day. You are very eloquent. I love your farm-it must be paradise. Your pets have stolen my heart. I'm thinking about getting chickens-can you recommend a particular breed? The photos you posted are so delightful, but I really love the bathroom in the first photo...simply beautiful. I am so happy to have you as a new friend and I plan on visiting often.Take care.
