A Wonderful Day!

Sunday was a wonderful day.

My favorite
Antique Mall
had a store wide sale!

And to make the day even more special
I got to meet one of my
favorite Bloggers
in person.

Mecky

She has a wonderful blog called
Her sweet home is filled with
wonderful treasures but she is most
famous for her wonderful
1930-1940's
kitchen items.

If you like vintage kitchen items
you will drool over some of the
beautifully colorful
things she's collected.

And believe me....
this girl is a
COLLECTOR!

We decided to try and meet up
at the mall
and about 3/4 of the way
down the first isle
I hear this soft voice
asking if I was
Maura.

Well we girls started
talking.

Ya can you believe it!

We had such a wonderful time
chatting that I almost forgot
to take photo's!

I did manage to get a few
so I hope you enjoy a little tour
of OUR favorite place to shop.

Mecky
THANK YOU
for the wonderful visit
and I look forward to visiting
with you again!

:)

I'm hyperventilating Maura...what a brilliant adorable place to wonder and shop. I think I'd be in danger of blowing my budget there.
Great to hear about your blogger's get together too. I'll take a visit across now.

Hi Maura: Looks like you had a great shopping day today. Thanks for telling us about Mecky. I looked her up and liked her blog so now am following. Looks like a great antique mall. Do you have to drive a long way to get there? Do you think California to Kansas is a little over the top..Judy

Isn't it amazing how easy it is to connect with other bologgers. Anyone who say's blogging friends aren't real friends needs to meet one in person and see how the kindred connection flows so naturally. What a wonderful store! Thanks for sharing. Patty

Great success last weekend at an antique mall.

Cannot imagine meeting you there !!

Surely you must come thru Atlanta eventually?

Warm & spring- like today. Have opened the Conservatory & set the table. Dinner about 7pm. Nothing fancy but it smells good from the crockpot.

Completed a design this afternoon on site, their cat thought I was most interesting.

What a wonderful antique store, I would love to go but I'm afraid it's too far from where I live !
How great that you could meet with your favourite blogger, that's wonderful !
I'm always surprised when I see that many bloggers can take photos when they visit their favourite stores, here in my town they won't let me. I asked a couple of times and they always say no. I don't understand why ?
I really enjoyed this post !
