Wish we'd done it sooner.

Hi Maura!

Loving all that red... the wagon wheel in the snow, just the little pop is probably my favorite... or maybe it's the cardinal... or maybe the dog collar? I love the bright red collar on a white dog! Our yellow lab, a very white yellow lab had a great red dog collar, however she somehow gets them off and then proceeds to play tug and chew with our black lab. Fortunately it has a lifetime warranty and I just need to get it sent in!

~Chris

PS... I "sent" you a little award a few days ago (the same one as Andrea at Rural Revival). I understand if you don't "accept" blog awards, but please take a moment to check it out :)

Love your farm red post. I am a country girl from way back, so I tend to love seeing some of the farm things again.

Maura, Your reds are fantastic! I'm so glad that you are enjoying living in the country. Hubby and I thought we were settled but lately he has been talking of moving to the country, having a "little piece of Heaven on earth." We'll see...gotta get my son through school next year and then just maybe we will make the move.:o)
Fondly,

Those tomatoes sure looked good, Maura! Made my mouth water... and it'll be months before we have any to eat. Except for the ones I canned from last year's surplus. Beautiful pics!

Hi Maura, Your music is very fitting because it is definitely cold outside. We are suppose to get more snow the first of the week. I just don't know where we are going to push it. We had 8" over the weekend. I have been embroidering a couple of tea towels that have cardinals on them. I just need to finish the border. I love the pictures in your post because it makes me think of my childhood on the farm. I enjoyed reading your previous post and all of the pictures. Have a great day. A Missouri Friend.

Looking at your last few posts it's looks like you had a lovely and charming home where ever you live. I enjoyed the photos and stories. (Don't know about the bears though.)

Oh wow, every single photo is so pretty! I think my favorite is the one of your chickens, because I think roosters and chickens are beautiful and I've always wanted to have a couple myself. Unfortunately that's not allowed where we live! :-(
Happy REDnesday,
Carol
