It's Been Fun

Yesterday morning my sister Susan
left for home.

Unfortunately she had to leave a couple of
days earlier than expected
as the people she had gotten a ride
with decided to leave on Sunday
instead of Tuesday.

Oh well...it was a wonderful visit
and we got lots of visiting in
and even found time for a
day-trip!

We're grateful for any time we can
spend together.

~~~~~~~~
I'm afraid I put my back out on Saturday
so I'm not able to sit here at the desk for
very long but I wanted to get a few pictures
posted for you.
This is Olly enjoying his 'Aunty Susan'.
He's got a tough life doesn't he ;)
Sue enjoyed Olly as much as he enjoyed
his belly rub.
More photo's coming once I can sit longer
at the desk.
Did any of you feel the earthquakes last week?
We sure did.
I hope your weekend was a good one!
Aww, sorry to read she had to cut her stay short, but I just know you two crammed two weeks worth of talking into twelve days :)
Throwing your back out...were you line-dancing ?
Get better soon.
Look at that Ollie, soaking up the cuddles ....
Priceless.
I often wonder what it would be like to have a sister to share things with, you are so lucky to have Susan and you have had so much fun catching up. Even if you don't get to visit each other as often as you like, I bet you stay in close touch with each other.
Love all the photos, isn't your Olly a poser?
I am so sorry to hear about your back, it can be so painful, I do hope you recover soon.
Sending lots of get well wishes and hugs,
Sandi
Oh, your sister looks very happy and comfortable being with you.
In the KC area "we" felt them, but I slept thru both of them. Kills me, as I am a science teacher and would have loved to experience just a little shaking.
I don't know who looks happier your sister or Olly. So glad you had to to visit with your Sis.
I'm so glad you got to spend time with your sister but not so glad to hear about your back...I can relate to such issues. :/
Yes, we felt the quakes here with them being just south of us about 20 miles or so!! But no damage thankfully.
So glad you had a great time with your sis......it seems that no matter how long we get to have our loved ones for visits, it is never long enough.....but we take what we can get and love every minute.
I haven't actually seen my sister for nearly a year now. You've reminded me how special it is to have someone who knows you so well and able to share everything with.
So sorry you put your back out. That must be very painfu. Don't you just love it when sisters visit. I'm lucky to have mine live close now. They were in Manitoba for years but have retired here in Ontario. Here's to a speedy recovery.
You're all right about Maura and I being so blessed to be able to spend time with each other. I treasured ever minute and was very, very sad to leave. I had such a wonderful time and as you can see, enjoyed being with Olly and the rest of the critters, too. Thanks for all your comments and Maura (Pud to me), take care of your back quickly...we'll all miss your posts. Love you so very much....Susan (Scufty)
I love your photos!! Your cat is adorable and reminds me so much of my father's cat that passed away a couple of years ago. I also love the music playing on your blog. I usually have the volume off but I'm glad I didn't this time. : ) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I hope you feel better soon. God bless.
