In June 2009 

my husband and I sold our

beautiful 1903 Victorian

and purchased a run down little

farm in the country. 

It had been terribly neglected over 

the years and  the house

needed a lot of TLC.

After living in our camper for 3 months

while we worked on most of the house

we finally moved in. 

I loved our Victorian but this truly was 

HOME.

We live here with our 3 dogs and 3 cats

26  sweet hens + 2 beautiful roosters

and an assortment of other critters that

come in and out of our lives.

We still have lots of work to do 

but we're taking our time and enjoying

our progress. We're taking time to 

"smell the roses" 

as the saying goes. 

This is our journey.
