This is a beautiful old barn that we
pass every time we drive
to Kansas City.
This barn has 4 levels
and is made of native stone.
It's nice to see it is well taken care of
and appreciated.
The photo below give you a better idea
of just how large this barn is.

Aren't old barns just the loveliest things? I would love to go through this one. Call me strange, but I love the smell of hay and the animals! Well, maybe not so much the animals but definitely the hay ;)
This a magnificent barn I am so impressed with it. Should I see it my jaw would drop open in awe.
I love stone buildings--that is a gorgeous barn.
A stone barn...that is gorgeous.
Hi Maura,
I flew over here via The Little Red Hen at Home blog. I just adore all of your photos and on one of your previous posts, I had a real giggle over Shep and Chelsea and then Shep and the kitty. Just darling!
I am really loving your barn photos. I live in San Antonio and on the rare occasion that my husband and I can take a ride out in the country, we have come across several really old barns. I'm sure that there might be more around the area, I just have to look for them. Barns are so cheery and remind me of an era gone by.
I'll be back to visit you again real soon!
Deanna :D
wow, what a beautiful building. And the red door...so pretty
I'd love to go through that.
Thank you for including Landon in your prayers... very much appreciated! =)
Good Morning, Maura
I like how you included the black and white photo of the barn; it gave that "old time" feeling to your post. I was out of town recently and found myself admiring the barns between Ottawa and Kingston.

Wow is about all I can say. What a fabulous barn that is!

I agree Maura, a very beautiful barn. Large stone barns like that, I think, are rare and a real treat to see!
