What a most delightful rose Maura. I am not good at naming my roses. But i ordered through a friend a rose that looks just like it. you might have seen it on my posts. They are stunning and their scent powerful and lovely. Its a normal weekend here. Happy times val
Yellow is my favourite colour in roses. Yours are gorgeous. I just did a post about Mellow Yellow also but mine is about irises. Hope you have a great weekend. We had a long weekend last week, but now I'm retired every weekend is a long weekend.
Absolutely beautiful! Yellow roses are a favorite in our family....my very first flower from my hubby (then boyfriend) was a yellow rose for Valentine's Day; both our daughters had yellow roses incorporated in their wedding bouquets! They will always be my most favorite color for a rose. :)
Hi Maura: "They call it mellow yellow." Now I'm really dating myself. How beautiful are those David Austin roses? Are your's especially good this year? Mine are, and I don't know why. Everything in the garden is doing so well this year..Hope your days this week are mellow..Judy
nice post thanks for sharing...wanted to invite all blog friends to my tuesday's bloghops...the purpuse is to share with others...the lord love friendship ..this is own choice but will be glad if you join...thank you if you do...blessings
I agree with you, the Graham Thomas rose is Perfection! I imagine it has a wonderful fragrance, as well. That's what I especially love about the David Austin roses is that the fragrance has not been removed like so many American rose producers have done. I know they did it because people complained of allergies but I think they over removed the beautiful fragrances. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous rose with us. I hope you are having a wonderful week.
Your yellow roses are BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm on the hunt for a yellow texas rose, but most places I've checked seem to be sold out. Sigh... maybe next year I'll get on the ball and find one earlier in the season.
Thank you for stopping by! I really do appreciate your taking the time to leave a comment...I read each and every one of them. I hope your day is a good one and that you will come back again soon. Take care. Maura :)
