Saturday

Yesterday our lawn mower broke down.
We have a choice...either order the part if it's not in stock and wait until we have
a hayfield to mow...

or

buy a new lawmower.

Hmmm...I think I know where my boat money is going.

;-)

I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend

  2. Aww thank you Jo...you're too kind. The only plants in the ground are the hydrangea, two roses and the day lilies...the rest are in containers. I guess previous owners of this old farm didn't care about flowers as much as chickens! Next year will be different. If mine looks half as wonderful as yours does I'll be happy! You enjoy your weekend too my friend :)

  3. We just did the same thing a month ago. It makes the work much shorter. Your flowers are beautiful. I am glad that the heat is not killing them.

I put up a misting system in the spokes of our patio umbrellas and set out the fans. It is a lot better as it lowers the temps by almost twenty degrees making it seem like heaven.

  4. Hi Pam, it's HOT out there! I'm watering the veggie garden by hand..don't want to water the weeds. Oh your mister sounds SOOOOOO good...I could sure use that right now. BUT I just came in to put a hat on and clip one of those battery operated bug things on and I'm heading back out in the sun. It's already 88 and it's 11:30 geez. Enjoy your weekend and your little bit of 'heaven'! :)

  6. Pretty flowers you have there. Hang on to your boat money and order the part...it surely can't take that long to get a part in.

  9. Murphey's Law, eh!

Last week J was on the tractor and the seat fell off! Just FELL off. He was w a y out in the field. I thought he looked strange the way he was sitting, but I just thought his bum was tired. LOL!! He kept on cutting because it had to get done.(I wasn't too happy because it was not safe at all) Then he ordered a new seat :) It wasn't in the budget, but then nothing ever is!

    Hope your weekend was nice.
Let us know what you choose-boat or lawn mower. You can't mow the yard with a boat. But, you also can't stay
afloat with a mower!!!!! Hmmm...tough choice.
