Our house is yellow, but we find it very harsh, it's almost a gold colour. We've been contemplating a change too, and considered a green, fairly similar to the one above but have decided on a red with white trim. Of course, when we'll ever get started on the job is anyone's guess!

~Andrea~Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15451777566497814274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672117109679216195.post-18906069805836753882010-05-19T15:23:23.428-05:002010-05-19T15:23:23.428-05:00I think I just deleted my own comment! Green would be too much like the blue you already have and won't feel like you've made a big change. Just be sure to get the correct yellow so it isn't too bright. Can't wait to see the after pics. Bet it will be beautiful!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564840073358020600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672117109679216195.post-52618372750582932142010-05-18T17:43:42.807-05:002010-05-18T17:43:42.807-05:00I just came across your wonderful blog! I just saw a house in the little town not too far from us that just got painted and it looks WONDERFUL! I think it may be too dark but I'm going to consider it too. THANK YOU for posting about memorial for the Canadian soldiers. My father would have loved that. I'll show your blog to my step mom up in Canada...she'll like your photo's. I wish we'd painted ours a yellow, instead of a boring beigey-cream. Oh well, it's starting to peel off so I guess I may get my yellow house, one of these years. Hmmm...never thought about yellow feeling hot but if I was to go for a yellow with a more orange undertone I could see that could be a problem. Thanks for the 'heads-up'! Heaven knows it gets super hot here in the summer. Oh my...I can just imagine how scared you were of loosing your home and all that investment to an earthquake...I would have been a a mess after that. Yellow could be to bright ....Our house is Yellowish, golden really and it can feel harsh in the hot sun...I love that sage green color and I think it would blend in with the landscape and the woodsy feel...anything would look good on your pretty farm... Your talk of tornados. When we bought our hours, our first house mind you after renting for 18 years together, we had an earthquake the first day...OMG I thought...there all that hard work of saving goes...but of course, all is ok...We stand strong!Beatnhearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14825208509765183528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672117109679216195.post-74631816919325953932010-05-18T10:15:29.418-05:002010-05-18T10:15:29.418-05:00Hello Pondside!
